Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of EasyJobCard, operated by Purple Toe Trading Pty Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in South Africa. By creating an account you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

EasyJobCard is a cloud-based job card management platform for field service businesses. It allows you to create digital job cards, capture customer signatures, attach photos, manage customers, and manage your team. Features and limits vary by subscription plan.

2. Account registration

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• One account registration creates one tenant (company workspace). Additional users can be added within plan limits.

3. Subscription plans and payment

We offer the following monthly subscription plans (prices in ZAR, VAT exclusive):

• All subscriptions are month-to-month. There is no minimum commitment period.
• Payments are processed securely by PayFast. We do not store your card details.
• Your subscription renews automatically each month on your billing date.
• We reserve the right to change plan pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

4. Cancellation and refund policy

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access until then.
• We do not offer refunds for any subscription fees already charged, including partial months.
• Downgrading to the Free plan is treated as a cancellation of your paid subscription.

5. Your data

• Your data belongs to you. We claim no ownership over any job cards, customer records, photos, or signatures you create.
• Job cards are automatically deleted after 90 days. You are responsible for exporting any data you wish to keep before that period.
• Upon account cancellation or deletion, all your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
• We will not access your data except to provide the service, respond to a support request you initiate, or as required by law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any South African law.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure.
• Resell, sublicense, or white-label the service without our written consent.
• Use the service to store or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes third-party rights.
• Exceed plan limits through automated or artificial means.

7. Account suspension and termination

• We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms.
• We may suspend accounts for non-payment after reasonable notice.
• We may discontinue the service with 60 days' notice to registered users, providing a data export opportunity.
• You may delete your account at any time via your account settings or by emailing us.

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
• We are not liable for any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the service.
• Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under South African law.

9. Intellectual property

All software, design, trademarks, and content belonging to EasyJobCard remain the exclusive property of Purple Toe Trading Pty Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for its intended purpose during your subscription period.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
